Board of AdvisorsDr. Michel Jullian, Chairman
Michel Jullian founded OCM Manufacturing in September 1988 after managing the product development department at the Ontario Centre for Microelectronics, a centre of excellence created by the Ontario Government to foster chip-manufacturing capabilities in the area. Prior to that, he held various Design Engineering roles at the Industrial Applications of Microelectronics Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in France and abroad. Michel is author and co-author of more than 27 technical reports and professional publications in both French and English, and has taught software engineering and microprocessing in Canada and the Philippines. Michel serves on the Board of Directors of the Innovators' Alliance, and on the Editorial Board for Canadian Electronics Magazine. He received his M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of Manitoba. He races a Van Diemen RF 85 in the Formula Ford regional championships, and his two-seater Barras can be seen at various charity and other events. George Cwynar
Mr. George Cwynar is a seasoned senior executive with more than 35 years of experience in the software, systems and semiconductor industries, including 15 years in a public company. He boasts a track record of strong financial performance, business management innovation, business turnaround and strategic business re-positioning. He served for 13 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of MOSAID Technologies, a TSX-listed company focused on developing and licensing intellectual property for semiconductor and communications technologies. At MOSAID, Mr. Cwynar helped the company grow from a small test and design firm with $10 million of sales to one of the world’s largest intellectual property companies. Mr. Cwynar also served as President of COM DEV Canada, a designer and manufacturer of space-qualified hardware. Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., where he held various management positions, including Senior Vice-President & General Manager of Operations and Vice-President & General Manager, Electro-Optical Division. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Electrical Engineering program, Mr. Cwynar has served on several Boards of Directors of both public and private companies. Peter Andrews
