Industry Veterans Appointed to OCM Manufacturing’s New Advisory Board
Michel Jullian, Peter Andrews & George Cwynar form Ottawa electronics manufacturer’s Advisory Board.
OCM Manufacturing, a fixture in the Ottawa area electronics manufacturing scene for 23 years, today announced that it has established a new Board of Advisors to provide strategic guidance on ongoing growth and expansion of the business.
Members of the Advisory Board are experienced business and technology industry leaders, including:
Dr. Michel Jullian – the Founder and past President of OCM Manufacturing, Dr. Jullian successfully ran the company from 1988 to 2011. Previously, he managed the product development department at the Ontario Centre for Microelectronics and held various design engineering roles in Canada and abroad. He has co-authored more than 27 technical reports and technical publications, has taught software engineering, and holds patents.
Peter Andrews – with more than 25 years of strategic, operational, financial and transition management experience in diverse industries, Mr. Andrews is a strategic and operational expert who has delivered exceptional results in senior executive roles at a wide range of companies, including SHL Systemhouse, In-Touch Survey Systems, Grantium Inc., and others. He is President and Founder of PRA Strategic Group, providing strategic and operational guidance to small- and mid-sized enterprises.
George Cwynar – a seasoned executive with more than 35 years of experience in the software, systems and semiconductor industries, Mr. Cwynar is best known for growing MOSAID Technologies from a small test and design firm with $10M of sales into one of the world’s largest intellectual property companies. He also served as President of COM DEV Canada and held various management positions at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, Ltd.
Commenting on the changes, Dr. Jullian said: “This distinguished Advisory Board is comprised of very strong individuals who collectively bring many, many years of business experience to the table. I know they will provide a strong strategic mechanism to support the company in its future growth and development.”
OCM Manufacturing recently appointed former VP Manufacturing, George Henning, to President and completed an expansion of its Ottawa facility. With double the capacity, OCM can now better respond to increased and more diversified product requirements, and recently launched a dedicated prototyping service.
