OCM President to Deliver Inaugural Session of EOMN’s Entrepreneurship Series
New speaker series focuses on the entrepreneurial side of manufacturing
OCM’s Michel Jullian will be the first manufacturing entrepreneur to present at the Eastern Ontario Manufacturers Network’s (EOMN) new Entrepreneurship Series.
The new series kicks of this Thursday in Kingston, where Dr. Jullian (who is Chairman of the EOMN as well as President and CEO of OCM Manufacturing) will discuss topics such as staying competitive, creating a strong and vibrant work environment, lessons learned in business, and more.
As a preview to his talk, Jullian said: “As President and CEO I take a frugal and thoughtful approach to business and always drive my managers and staff toward new goals. We have open communication within the organization and particularly among the management team. Going forward, we are proactively pursuing business in new markets including clean-tech/renewable energy. We have also initiated a new layer of customer service that will ensure that OCM can better partner with its customers to anticipate volumes, minimize supply risks, and bring the voice of the customer to everything we do – even to the manufacturing shop floor.”
